This Privacy Policy explains how Bonpredict (“we”, “us”, “our”) — the operator of the Bonpredict mobile application, the website at bonpredict.com, and the Bonpredict API (together, the “Service”) — collects and uses your personal data.
For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, and comparable laws, the data controller is the operator of Bonpredict, a sole proprietorship (ατομική επιχείρηση) established in Greece:
The operator’s full registered name and Greek tax number (ΑΦΜ) are available on request at info@bonpredict.com and will be added to this page.
Data Protection Officer / representative. No Data Protection Officer is appointed — the criteria in Article 37 GDPR are not met (no large-scale systematic monitoring and no special-category data). No Article 27 EU representative is required either, because the operator is established in the European Union. Privacy enquiries go to the address above.
This summary is for orientation only; the full policy below governs.
This policy covers personal data we process through the app, the website, and the API (api.bonpredict.com). It does not cover the app stores, your bookmaker, or any third-party site or service you use alongside Bonpredict — those are governed by their own privacy policies.
We collect the following categories. For each, the “legal basis” is the GDPR Article 6 ground we rely on.
We run no analytics or advertising software. Bonpredict contains no analytics SDK, no attribution software, no advertising software and no third-party tracking. We do not build usage profiles and we do not track you across apps or websites.
A note on odds data. The Bonpredict codebase contains an integration with a third-party odds provider (Betfair) that is currently switched off and is not used to process your personal data. If we ever enable it in a way that involves your personal data, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
We do not knowingly collect special-category data (such as health, political, or biometric data) and ask that you do not send it to us.
We only process personal data where the law allows. Depending on the data, we rely on: your consent; the performance of our contract with you (running your subscription); our legal obligations (accounting, tax, and responding to lawful requests); and our legitimate interests (running, securing and improving the Service, and preventing fraud and abuse) where those interests are not overridden by your rights. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time (see section 10).
We use personal data to: register and authenticate you; deliver signals through the app; process payments and manage your subscription and renewals; provide customer support; send you service messages (about your subscription, security, or changes to the Service); send you marketing only where you have opted in or we are otherwise permitted to, with an easy opt-out every time; keep the Service secure and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised sharing of paid signals; comply with our legal obligations; and improve the product.
Automated decision-making. Our signals are produced using data analysis and may involve algorithms, but they are general sporting predictions about matches and events — they are not automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you personally within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR. We do not use your personal data to make automated decisions of that kind.
We share personal data with the service providers (“processors”) that operate the product on our behalf, and only as needed. We do not sell your personal data. Our providers are:
We may also disclose data where required by law, to establish or defend legal claims, to prevent fraud or harm, or in connection with a business sale or reorganisation (in which case we will tell you).
Each processor is engaged under a data-processing agreement requiring appropriate safeguards.
The operator is established in Greece, within the European Economic Area. Some of our providers, and our technical operations partner, process data outside the EEA. This means your personal data may be transferred to, and processed in, countries outside your own.
There are two such transfers:
Neither country is covered by an EU adequacy decision that applies to these transfers. For both we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, and on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum for data originating in the United Kingdom, together with the supplementary safeguards those clauses require. Google, Expo, RevenueCat and Stripe each provide their own data-processing agreement and transfer safeguards.
You can ask us for more information about the safeguards that apply, using the contact details above.
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes described here, then delete or anonymise it. In general:
When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep certain records (for example for tax, or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements). What is deleted and what is kept is set out in full on our account deletion page.
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
How to exercise your rights: email info@bonpredict.com. You can also delete your account, and the data associated with it, from within the Bonpredict app (Settings › Account) — see our account deletion page. We will respond within the time limits set by law (generally one month under the GDPR). We will not charge you for a request unless the law allows it.
bonpredict.com sets only the strictly necessary cookies required for the site to function. We use no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking pixels. The mobile app uses device storage and identifiers for equivalent essential purposes. When you go through checkout, Stripe sets its own cookies for fraud prevention and payment security, governed by Stripe’s privacy policy. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first and you will be able to change your choice at any time.
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk — encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashing of passwords, access controls, and least-privilege practices — to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach is likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
The Service is intended strictly for adults aged 18 or over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under that age. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact info@bonpredict.com and we will delete it. See our Responsible Play page for more on age restrictions.
The Service links to and works with third parties — the app stores, payment providers, and, through your own choices, bookmakers and other sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before using them.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app, by email, or on the website before they take effect where required. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect.
